Description: The School is one of the oldest academic units in the University of Nairobi. It started its activities in the 1950s as an Extra Mural Centre of Makerere University, and has since expanded its range of programmes and learner support services to most parts of the country. The School has 12 Extra Mural Centres, each with several Sub-Centres.
